My legs were sore and sluggish from yesterday's 15 miles. I started off very slow and it wasn't going well, at all, which irritated my so I picked up the speed to 7.5 mph then 8 mph and it felt much better. Why would going faster feel better??? Managed to run faster for about 3 miles 8.5-9mph....well, fast for me. lol !

I need to get me a pair of kicks in the next month or two. They are just so darn expensive. It's like pulling a tooth to try and convince my husband. haha, Ill get them eventually! I need stability FOR sure though. No races in the winter. Yuck. Just maintain, and then when the spring and summer hits.. Ill reevaluate and probably race. but probably only one or two. We shaaaaalll see. I like to keep it a mystery! haha. I surprise even myself sometimes. Enjoy the winter months, Just means we ALL will appreciate summer soo much more!

1/2 mile warm-up. Started off running slow, at 5 miles I sped up to 8 mph. I kept increasing the speed for the next 2.5 miles finished at 9 mph. Had to restarted the treadmill and ran 5.1 miles at 7.5 mph increasing the speed to 8 mph then cooled down for 1/2 a mile. Tried out some new PEC calf sleeves. I liked how they felt. We'll see if they help me recover faster. I'm running the St. George Half Marathon next Saturday!!! So many people from the gym are running it, some with their spouses too! Should be a fun time!

Hi Rachelle, me, Paul & Melissa are all going to start the race at your pace time (1:50..right?) and then just see how we feel. I'm faster on short runs till about 6-8 miles then my old age slows me down. I'll be happy with a 1:45! We're excited to run with you Saturday!!!!! See you soon!
